While Neflite was gone, Sailor Moon shared her energy with Malachite. She knew it was important for Malachite to get his strength back as quickly as he could. Queen Beryl was ready to attack the Earth and they needed Malachite fast.

After a few hours, Sailor Moon released Malachite and fell back from exhaustion. Neflite, who had returned about an hour before, swiftly caught her.

"Thanks," Sailor Moon said weakly. She looked down at herself as her sailor uniform disappeared to be replaced by her regular clothes. The Moon Wand fell from her hands.

"Your parents believe you are spending the night at one of your friends' homes, so you can rest here," Neflite said. He picked her up and laid her down on the leather sofa. While Serena was helping Malachite, Neflite had spread a blanket on the sofa and gotten another one ready to go over Serena. Serena fell asleep instantly.

"I guess it wiped her out more than I thought," Zoycite whispered. She was now bracing Malachite on her lap.

"The sooner these two get their strength back, the sooner we can destroy Queen Beryl," Neflite said.

"How will we do that?" Zoycite asked. "Trista told me what happened the first time around, that everyone but Sailor Moon dies. We can't let the Doom and Gloom Girls do that."

"I know we can't let that happen, and we can't let the scouts know how things originally happened, either," Neflite said.

Zoycite and Neflite's conversation was interrupted by Malachite waking up. Malachite first focused on Zoycite, then he turned his head slightly to see Neflite. "Where's Sailor Moon?" he asked weakly.

"She's over here resting," Neflite said. "You both need to gain your energy back."

"Neflite, give the Moon Wand to Serena," Trista said, coming into the room. "Serena gave Malachite enough energy that his strength will be completely back by morning."

"Ok." Neflite picked up the wand from where Serena dropped it and placed in her fingers. He could see the Silver Crystal glow as it started to give its energy back to Serena.

"Zoycite, it's not wise to move Malachite from the floor while he's still so weak. Someone will give you a blanket and pillow if you want to sleep on the floor too," Trista said.

"I'll get them," Amara said from the chair where she had been quietly sitting the whole time. She got up from the chair and left the room.

"Neflite," Trista said, "once Amara comes back with the blanket and pillow, I think we'll be heading out. Can you handle everything yourself until morning?"

"Yes, I can manage. Mind you, I'll be at Molly's by morning. I promised her that I'd be there when she woke up. But I think Zoycite can handle things while I'm gone," Neflite said.

"Good. We'll all be back first thing in the morning to prepare our attack. Serena and Malachite should have regained their strength by then," Trista said.

"Here's the blankets," Amara said, coming back in the room. She walked over to Zoycite and Malachite. "Here, I brought out a blanket and a pillow for each of you."

Amara helped Zoycite get situated and then Malachite. By the time Amara was finished, Zoycite was leaning against a corner and Malachite was resting on her lap. Amara stood back up, then she and Trista left.

Early the next morning, Malachite awoke. He could feel his energy was completely back. Looking up, he saw Zoycite asleep against the wall. She must be starting feel uncomfortable, he thought. He got up and gently placed Zoycite on the floor. She didn't wake.

As he stood back up he took another look around the huge room and walked over to where Serena slept soundly on the sofa, with another blanket over her.

Looking down at her face, he couldn't believe that the girl was actually Sailor Moon. The Crescent Moon Wand lay by her fingers. He quietly picked up the wand and immediately saw the silver crystal react to his energy.

The tingling sensation that went through his body was nothing he ever felt before. Even when he'd sleep with Zoycite, he never got a sensation like he was getting now. The silver crystal started to glow. Before he could do anything, the light became too bright for him. He shielded his eyes from the light with one arm.

When he moved his arm away, he saw something that he never seen before. He was no longer standing in front of the sofa. He was on a hillside looking out over a city made of crystal.

"Welcome, Lord Malachite."

Malachite whirled around to be face to face with a beautiful woman whose long blond hair reached to the floor. He recognized the hairstyle.

"This is Crystal Tokyo. I am Queen Serenity," the woman said. "I'm formally known as Sailor Moon in your time. This is what the future will be like if you, Neflite, Zoycite and the Sailor Scouts are able to destroy the Negaforce."

"You are Sailor Moon!" Malachite was stunned. "And this is the future."

"Yes. I brought you here to show you what your future can be like. I am the one who asked Trista to go and save your life."

"Zoycite and Neflite too?"

Serenity nodded.

"Why did you save us?"

"I only wanted to save Neflite, but when Trista saved him, the future started changing more than I thought it would. I soon realized we wouldn't defeat the Negaforce after all. So I asked Trista and the Outer Scouts to reveal themselves sooner than expected, to save you and Zoycite."

"So if you didn't save us, Zoycite, Neflite and myself, you would have defeated the Negaforce?"

"Yes. There is much to explain, but it will have to wait. Right now I must return you back to your time. Do not tell any of the scouts of the future. If you want to know of the future, talk to Trista."

Queen Serenity lifted her hands and a bright light began to glow. Malachite had to shield his eyes once again. When the light was gone and Malachite lowered his arm, he was back in Neflite's mansion in front of the sofa that Serena occupied.

He saw that Serena was stirring. Before she was completely awake, he placed the Moon Wand back on the sofa.

Serena looked up at Malachite in silence. At first she wondered what he was doing there, then she remembered that she shared her energy with him and now he was on her side.

"Where is everyone?" she asked, sitting up.

"Only you, Zoycite and myself are here. Apparently Neflite is with his girlfriend."

Over in the corner, Zoycite had woken up to the sound of Serena and Malachite talking. She stood up and walked over to them. "Malachite, meet Sailor Moon's alter ego, Serena."

"I still can't believe you are the Moon Princess," Malachite said.

"I still have a hard time believing it myself," Serena said. "Now for breakfast," she stood up and started wandering around the mansion, looking for what would be a kitchen.

Zoycite couldn't help but laugh. Malachite was confused. "Malachite, Serena's motive most of the time is to sleep, eat and play video games," Zoycite said.

"And I can never think on an empty stomach," Serena added as she walked back through the room.

Neflite sat in a chair he had created, and watched Molly sleep. When she did wake up, he was relieved. He knew the scouts would start arriving at his mansion soon and he needed to get back there.

"Neflite, you're still here," Molly said.

"I told you I'd be here when you woke up," Neflite said. He got up from the chair and sat on the side of the bed. "But I can't stay long."

"Are you going back to the mansion?" Molly asked.

"Yes, we are having a meeting first thing this morning. We have to find a way to destroy the Negaforce."

"I want to go with you." Molly got out of bed and went into the bathroom to get dressed.

When she came back into the room, Neflite got up off the bed and went over to her. "Molly, I don't think it's a good idea," Neflite he said.

"Neflite, I know we'll be apart when you go and help the scouts. But I want to be with you as much as I can before then."

When Neflite was close enough to her, she grabbed his shirt and pulled him down to her level so she could kiss him. The act surprised him, but he instantly responded. When she allowed him stand straight again, he looked at her, stunned.

"I'm going with you," she declared. "Now, go downstairs, then come back up to the door. I'll tell mom that you are picking me up and taking me out for the day."

Not knowing what else to do, Neflite left the room. While he was gone, Molly went out into the front room and told her mother that Neflite was going to be taking her out. A few minutes later, the doorbell rang, and Molly grabbed her coat and left with Neflite.

At the mansion, the scouts started to arrive. Knowing that most of the scouts wouldn't have had any breakfast, Lita brought some supplies from home to make breakfast. Serena was overjoyed when Lita came in with a bag of food. Neflite got there shortly after Lita.

"Serena, how are you?" Luna asked. Mina was holding her and Artemis.

"I'm fine, Luna," Serena said. "Malachite told me that Neflite placed the Moon Wand in my hands and the silver crystal started to give me back my energy."

Mina let Luna and Artemis go as they went to scope out the place. This was the first time they had been there.

With Zoycite and Raye's help, Lita soon had breakfast ready. Between the three girls, they made pancakes for everyone.

After breakfast was over, the scouts began their meeting.

"Now that everything's been done that I came here to do," Trista began, "it's time to put an end to the Negaverse."

"The only way to destroy the Negaverse is by destroying the Negaforce," Malachite said. "The Negaverse has a base in Arctic. And Queen Beryl is ready to attack the Earth at any time."

"Then that is where we'll go. But we need to decide how to attack," Amara said.

"Zoycite, Malachite and I have been talking," Neflite said. "And we think it would be best for you scouts to attack Queen Beryl while we go after the Negaforce."

"That isn't wise," Luna said. "We mustn't forget that Darien is there. Once Beryl finds out that we are attacking, she'll order Darien to protect the Negaforce."

"I agree with Luna," Artemis said. "In my opinion, the best way to destroy the Negaverse is by a frontal assault with an ambush. The scouts, minus Pluto, Uranus and Neptune, will attack first. Then the other three scouts will launch their attack from behind."

"That would work," Trista said. "Queen Beryl's surprise at seeing three more scouts will give us the advantage. The ex-generals can appear then and surprise her as well. She will not be expecting this."

Zoycite nodded in agreement. "While Beryl is in shock from seeing that her remaining generals are still alive, we can all make the final attack together."

"Of course, after Beryl is gone we'll have to hurry and destroy the Negaforce right away," Malachite said. "Once the Negaforce gone, Tuxedo Mask will come back to his senses and we can make a quick escape."

"Are we all agreed then?" Trista asked. Trista watched everyone nod.

Lita stood up. "Then let's get this show on the road!"

"How will we get there?" Amy asked.

"Sailor Scouts, you have a Sailor teleport power," Luna said. "If you concentrate your energy on where you want to go, it will take you there."

"Ok," Serena said. "What about the others? How will Malachite, Zoycite, Neflite and the other scouts be there without being seen?"

"That part is easy," Trista said. "We'll be in the time flux where Neflite used to spend a lot of time. There's an entrance to it in the other room."

"Well since we're all agreed, let's get this show on the road," Michelle said.

"I'm with you there," Lita said.

It took the scouts about an hour to prepare to go. When the scouts were ready to go, everyone went outside. For the first time, Molly watched the scouts transform, then Sailor Moon went up to her best friend and gave her a hug.

"Molly, we'll back. I promise," Sailor Moon said.

"I know," Molly said.

Molly backed away from the group as they began their teleport. When the five scouts were gone, the other three scouts and the generals went inside to the time flux and Molly went with them. Once in the time flux, they watched the scouts make their way through the freezing snow of the Arctic.

Queen Beryl watched as the scouts suddenly appeared in the Artic. She was quite impressed at how they got there.

"Doom and Gloom Girls, approach," Beryl said. The five gloom girls came into the throne room. "Destroy the Sailor Scouts."

The girls vanished. When they were gone, Queen Beryl left her throne to find Prince Darien.

In the shadows, Zoycite and Malachite watched the queen. When she was gone, they went back to the time flux.

"Queen Beryl is no longer watching the scouts," Zoycite told the others in the time flux.

"Excellent," Sailor Pluto said. "Now we can dispense with the Doom and Gloom girls."

Pluto swung her Orb over herself and the other two scouts, and all three of them disappeared, to reappear not too far behind the scouts. Despite the cold, the Outer Scouts ran up to the Inner Scouts.

"Scouts!" Sailor Uranus shouted. The scouts turned.

"What is it?" Sailor Moon asked.

"Zoycite and Malachite just came back from hiding in the shadows of the Negaverse and they saw Queen Beryl send her strongest warriors to finish you off," Sailor Pluto said. "We came to stop them. Queen Beryl left the throne room, so she isn't watching us."

"We should be seeing them any time now," Sailor Neptune said.

"Here they come!" Sailor Jupiter shouted.

The Outer Scouts backed away behind a huge snowdrift so the Doom and Gloom girls wouldn't see them. As the five youma came into better view, the scouts prepared to fight. The Doom and Gloom girls were quite surprised that the scouts were waiting for them.

Before they could utter a word, they heard voices from behind the Sailor Scouts.

"NEPTUNE DEEP SUBMERGE!"

"URANUS WORLD SHAKING!"

"PLUTO DEADLY SCREAM!"

Three different-colored energy balls of energy came flying at the Doom and Gloom Girls. Before the energy struck them, the girls got a good look at their attackers, and were shocked to see three more Sailor Scouts. Then the attack hit the Doom and Gloom girls, destroying all but one of them.

The last one looked up with weakened eyes from the snow-covered ground. She could see eight Sailor Scouts standing before her. Before she could do anything, she saw Sailor Mars and Jupiter use their attacks. When the gloom girls were gone, the Outer Scouts returned to the time flux and the Inners continued on their way.

A couple hours after the battle against the Doom and Gloom girls, the scouts found a cave. They hoped it would lead them straight to Beryl. Upon entering the cave, the scouts felt much warmer and knew they entered the Negaverse.

"Be careful, scouts," Sailor Moon said. "Something could come at us at any moment."

"Yes," the scouts said, and continued to walk on.

After a while, they entered a huge room. They had no idea what kind of room it was but they could feel strong negative energy there.

As they walked further into the room, they heard a hissing noise. Suddenly their surroundings vanished and they were in another room.

"Welcome, Sailor Scouts." The scouts whipped around at the sound, to be confronted with Queen Beryl. "You made it past the Doom and Gloom Girls. I don't know how you did it, but this is the end of the line. You shall perish!"

"You're quite mistaken," Sailor Moon said angrily. "You shall perish! And we will get Darien back too."

"Oh, you mean Prince Darien," Beryl smirked. "I don't think he wants to go with you, do you, my Prince?"

For the first time, the scouts noticed a shadow over Beryl's right arm. The shadow vanished to reveal Prince Darien kissing her hand.

Sailor Moon stepped back in shock. "No!"

"Now, Prince Darien," Beryl commanded. "Retrieve the Imperium Silver Crystal!"

"Yes, my queen." Prince Darien stood and started to advance the scouts.

Sailor Mars pushed Sailor Moon behind her and readied her attack.

"MARS FIRE IGNITE!"

"JUPITER THUNDER CRASH!"

"VENUS CRESCENT BEAM SMASH!"

"MERCURY BUBBLES BLAST!"

The four powers went charging towards Darien but he snapped his hand up and a shield appeared and absorbed all the energy.

"Damn!" Mars shouted.

"What can we do?"

"You can do nothing but surrender!" Beryl hissed in triumph.

"We will never surrender!"

The scouts turned and saw the Outer Scouts approach.

"What the...!" Beryl snapped in shock as she watched three more scouts appear from out of nowhere.

When the Outer Scouts reached the Inner Scouts, they revealed their names.

"I am Sailor Pluto!"

"I'm Sailor Uranus!"

"Sailor Neptune!"

"We are the Outer Sailor Scouts!" Pluto said. "Of the Outer solar system!"

"What?!" Beryl roared. She couldn't believe this. There were three more scouts. She didn't remember ever seeing these other scouts in the past.

"Scouts," Pluto said, "let's all use our powers together!"

"PLUTO DEADLY SCREAM!"

"NEPTUNE DEEP SUBMERGE!"

"URANUS WORLD SHAKING!"

"MARS FIRE IGNITE!"

"JUPITER THUNDER CRASH!"

"VENUS CRESCENT BEAM SMASH!"

"MERCURY BUBBLES BLAST!"

The powers went blasting towards Queen Beryl. She had a shield around her to protect her. She smiled as the attacks headed towards her shield. But the shield shattered, and the energy struck Beryl. She stared in horror as she was hit. How could the scouts' attacks penetrate her shield? Beryl crumbled to the ground.

"You underestimate us, Queen Beryl," Sailor Moon said as she walked in front of the her guardians. "It is you that will surrender."

"I will never surrender," Beryl spat.

"Then you will die," a feminine voice said.

Beryl looked up in wide eyes as she saw Zoycite and Malachite walk up towards the scouts.

"Beryl, you know your former generals," Sailor Moon said. "You thought they died."

"Well, they did not," Sailor Pluto said.

Out of the corner of her eye, Sailor Neptune saw Prince Darien come charging towards them with his sword in hand. "Sailor Moon! Look out!"

Sailor Moon turned to see her Prince heading towards her. She knew she didn't have time to move out of the way and screamed.

Zoycite, seeing that Prince Darien was about to attack Sailor Moon, jumped in front of her. "Zoe!" She swung her hand out and fired her cherry blossoms at Darien. "Sailor Moon! Use the crystal!"

"Right!" Sailor Moon shouted. "MOON HEALING ACTIVATION!"

As Sailor Moon started to heal Darien once again, the scouts went over to Beryl. Before the scouts reached Beryl, she grabbed her staff, which was lying on the ground, and swooped it over her head. A ball of pure energy formed and went sailing to the scouts, knocking them down.

"You will never destroy me!" Beryl hissed. She was now able to stand. When she got up, she saw that Sailor Moon was healing Prince Darien. She watched as Darien fell to the floor, unconscious.

Beryl swung her staff up again and aimed it at Sailor Moon but before she was able to attack, she felt a sharp pain in her back. She collapsed to the floor once again.

Her attacker walked around to stand in front of her.

"That is for turning us against Queen Serenity," a man's voice said.

The voice sounded familiar. Beryl looked up to see Neflite standing in front of her.

"Neflite!" she gasped.

"Yes," Neflite said venomously. "You will never be able to harm anyone again."

Leaving Beryl where she was, Neflite hurried over to Sailor Moon. The others were starting to recover from the energy that Beryl threw at them, and were gettting up.

"We must hurry to the Negaforce before she becomes aware of what is happening!" Neflite said. "I'll get Darien to the time flux. The rest of you go and I'll catch up."

The scouts quickly scrambled to their feet and gathered around in a circle with Zoycite and Malachite in the middle. The two generals lifted both their hands and they all disappeared.

With her dying eyes, Beryl watched Neflite grab Darien then open a portal of nothingness and disappear through it.

When Neflite entered the portal, Molly gasped in surprise at seeing Darien dressed in some kind of armor.

"What happened?" Molly asked.

"I don't really have time to explain," Neflite said. "Just keep an eye on him. He will regain consciousness soon enough. When he does, tell him that you know everything. He's Tuxedo Mask."

Molly nodded and watched Neflite head back through the portal.

Malachite and Zoycite teleported in the chambers of the Negaforce. The Scouts moved away and stared in wonder at the big red bubble.

"That is the..." Sailor Moon said.

"Negaforce," Zoycite finished Sailor Moon's sentence.

"She probably knows that we are here and therefore will send the last of the youma after us," Malachite said. Malachite had barely finished speaking when a swarm of youma came charging into the room.

The scouts started to attack the youma before they could get all the way into the room. In the meantime, Malachite and Zoycite stayed out of the scouts' way while trying to determine how to destroy the red bubble.

The scouts had managed to destroy most of the youma before the Negaforce started to make its move.

"You can never destroy me, traitors," the power in the red bubble said.

"I wouldn't be so sure of that," Sailor Moon said angrily.

"I have an idea," Pluto said. "We can use all our powers together to attack the Negaforce."

"That's exactly what I had in mind."

Everyone turned to see Neflite reappear in the room. "I ask for power of the stars." Neflite clapped his hands together. Many tiny energy balls flew from his hands and destroyed more of the youma.

With a quick nod of understanding from everyone, Neflite continued, "The best way to destroy the Negaforce is by combining your powers with Sailor Moon's tiara," Neflite said.

"Good idea," Pluto said.

Everyone got into position and began their attacks. When they had said their attacks, Sailor Moon bellowed, "MOON TIARA MAGIC!"

The seven scout powers combined together, and the generals' strongest attacks blended in with Sailor Moon's tiara. The tiara, incredibly powerful now, ripped through the red bubble of the Negaforce and blasted out the other side. When it exited the bubble, the tiara was no more than a regular flying disk.

Sailor Moon swung her hand to bring the tiara back to her. Once it was back safely on her forehead, she could feel the tingling of all the combined powers.

A screech came from the Negaforce as it started to explode from the inside. A rumbling sound came up from the floor, making the scouts lose their footing. The floor starting quaking so badly that the scouts had to crawl over to the generals so they could get out of the Negaverse.

It seemed to take a long time to reach the Generals, but they finally did and the whole group managed to get out. The whole room exploded as the scouts teleported away.

Outside of the Negaverse, the scouts materialized. They were a safe distance away from the exploding Negaverse. They watched in delight as the Negaverse finally destroyed itself.

When the light show was over, the scouts looked at each other in relief as Pluto opened the portal to the time flux. The scouts entered the time flux to be greeted by Molly and Darien, who had finally regained consciousness.

Before anyone could react or move, Pluto once again swung her Garnet Orb and everyone was back at the mansion.

Sailor Moon, after realizing that they were back in Tokyo, ran up to Darien and hugged him.

"Well, scouts, it was a pleasure working with you," Pluto said. "But now I must go and guard the Gates of Time."

Sailor Moon, who had turned back into Serena, released Darien and went up to Pluto. "Thank you, Trista, for helping us."

"And thank you for giving me back the man I love," Molly said. She was cuddled beside Neflite.

"If you guys ever want to see me, just call my name. I won't be too far away," Pluto said. A portal opened up behind Pluto, and she entered it and disappeared. But before she was gone, she watched as three couples embraced each other. This was as it was meant to be.

In the future, the king and queen of Crystal Tokyo also watched the three couples embrace: Zoycite and Malachite, Molly and Neflite, and finally their younger selves. Behind them, Pluto entered.

The king and queen turned to Pluto and nodded their approval of a job well done. Behind Pluto came the generals of the future. They went up to the queen and bowed in gratitude. They were quite content living on Earth.

Back in present time, the scouts were celebrating the destruction of the Negaverse. It had been a long battle, and they had had to make a lot sacrifices but everyone understood why things had to go as they did. And everyone, especially the three reunited couples, agreed that it was worth it.
